It all started when…
Indy met Mark in Chico CA, at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, for the release of the breweries first IPA. Their shared love of beer (and each other) grew from there.
Twenty-one years later, after many years in the beer world (brewing and then selling), Mark was ready to begin a venture of his own. Indy, ready for a change of pace herself, jumped on board - bringing her positive ethos and infectious energy into the mix. Their son, Will, stepped in to help with sales & delivery. And just like that, Vermont Beer Shepherd began.
Six years later, we now have a robust beer portfolio, a growing non-alcohol division, and a carefully curated wine division. Our incredible sales & delivery team keeps three box trucks on Vermont roads Monday-Friday, all departing from our beautiful forever home in an 18,000 sq. ft. warehouse in the heart of Waterbury, VT.
