Crux Fermentation Project is a one-of-a kind brewery using non-traditional brewing methods to create fantastic beer! Crux excels in many beer styles through such methods as decoction mashing,open fermentation and barrel aging.

In Larry Sidor’s 40-plus years in the Pacific Northwest beer industry, he has brewed at a massive industrial scale, tended to hop production, and he helped now the Deschutes Brewery into a craft powerhouse!  Nearly five years ago, Larry struck out on his own, founding Crux Fermentation Project: a new Bend, Oregon, brewing institution.  A wide variety of new classics are created at Crux, including sublime IPAs, complex barrel-aged Flanders Reds, and traditional Pilsners.
